Mixed-age studios, each designed for where a learner is — not just how old they are. *

  • This is where it begins.

In Spark, the youngest heroes learn that they are capable — of choosing their own work, of solving their own problems, of belonging to a community that takes them seriously.

Inspired by Maria Montessori and grounded in the Hero's Journey, Spark learners build the habits that everything else grows from: curiosity, care, and confidence in their own hands.

  • Something shifts here.

Discovery learners begin to notice who they are — what lights them up, what frustrates them, what they're made of when things get hard. With more freedom comes more responsibility, and they begin to discover that learning isn't something done to them.

It's something they do. And that changes everything.

  • This is where young people discover what they're made of.

Explorers are done being passengers. They run their own Quests, lead Socratic discussions, and begin to hold each other accountable in ways that matter. Academic mastery deepens here — not because it's required, but because they're starting to see why it's useful. Reading, writing, and math become tools for something real, not subjects to survive.

Explorer is where a learner stops asking "what do I have to do?" and starts asking "what am I trying to build?"

  • The world gets bigger here — and so does the stakes.

Navigators take on longer, harder Quests. They sit with ambiguity. They disagree, work it out, and lead. The Socratic discussions go deeper, the real-world challenges get thornier, and the community holds itself to a higher standard because the heroes inside it demand it.

This is the studio where young people begin to develop a point of view — about who they are, what they believe, and what kind of mark they want to leave.

  • This is what it's all been building toward.

Wayfinders are not preparing for life. They are living it. Real apprenticeships. Real entrepreneurship. Real decisions with real consequences. They build things, pitch things, fail at things, and get back up — because by now they know that's how it works.

A Wayfinder leaves Canopy not with a transcript that summarizes their past, but with a portfolio that demonstrates their readiness — for college, for work, for whatever the next chapter of their Hero's Journey holds.

They know who they are. They know what they value. And they know their life is theirs to build.
